關係代名詞whom的用法!!!
想問一個問我做過的問題
She has four sons, two of (1.whom 2.them) are doctors.
為什麼答案是whom,這裡算是受格嗎???我不懂!!!
請幫我解答一下吧!!!謝謝!!!!

只要是接在介係詞後的代名詞(不管是一般人稱代名詞或關係代名詞),就要用受詞的型態!She has four sons, two of whom are doctors.two of whom 的 whom 引導出形容詞子句,子句的主詞應該是two, 動詞是are!其實你把它想成是另一種寫法,你就知道是用whom是受格了:She has four sons, and two of them are doctors.這裡的them是人稱代名詞受格,and + them 就等同於是有連接詞作用的關係代名詞whom,而且和them一樣,whom的格位也同樣還是受格啊!There were twenty students in this class. Half the students passed the exam.---> There were 20 students in this class, and half of them passed the exam.---> There were 20 students in this class, half of whom passed the exam.

SHE 是主詞 HAS 是動詞 FOUR SONS就是受詞了
這樣當然是應該要用WHOM囉！
