Sallers at a flea market come from all walks of life. Some folks make their living this way. They spend the week collecting used furniture, old cars parts, antique jewelry, or whatever else they have an interest in . They may even have regular customers. But for most vendors, the flea market is just a way to get some extra cash. You might find housewives trying to get rid of baby supplies and household appliances, or you might see business people selling things from their stores. Others bring whatever they have at home and sell it just for fun.

Early birds get the best deals at the markets. But if you come later in the day, you may have a better chance to bargain with the vendors. Perhaps they will be eager to get rid of something before they go home. Whatever you arrive, you'll find the aisles lined with odds and ends: comic books, shoes, garden tools, cassette tapes, and just about anything else you can think of. If you've been searching high and low for that perfect picture frame or pocketknife, look no further. This is the place to find it.

You also don't want to miss the homemade goodies section of the flea market. Here you'll find every kind of canned goods, from pickles to peaches, from mustard to marmalade. Some markets also display produce stands, where weekend farmers sell juice fruits and ripe vegetables. They are cheaper and often better-tasting than what you'll get at the supermarket.

After a day of shopping, you will have found all of those items that you just can't live without. And you will still have money left over. It looks like you'll have to make another trip to the flea market next weekend!
