在美國奧克拉荷馬怎麼申請網路和電話?

月底就要前往奧克拉荷馬了

住的公寓沒有電話.所以電話要另外申請

我的需求只要有網路視訊和家人聊天就好了

但是要申請網路一定要有電話號碼嗎?

如果住在奧克拉荷馬 要找哪家公司呢?

算一算一些裝置費要多少錢呢?

雖然沒住過Oklahoma 但在其他州情形應該大致相同

建議不用安裝local 電話 除非必要

電話可以申辦cell phone (大多電話公司提供夜間免費或週末免費)

(費率視計畫 有很大的差異性 大概30~50就有不錯的計畫)

如果要安裝網路 不一定要安裝電話

如果你住的公寓 有安裝有線電視 如COX

他們的網路服務 非常優

安裝費與月費 要看是不是有promotion

記得那時安裝費大約US$150左右

(可以跟你的房東商量是否一起share費用 或要求房東安裝或與室友一起負擔)

internet的費用 promotion 時才一個月20左右

(沒promotion 時 一個月曾經繳過60)

不過都必須再加上 tax

If you want to use phone line system, that's SBC's DSL. If you want to use cable system, that's COX. I've used both and I personally prefer cable since I need to have enough tv channels. Plus, I had a hard time dealing with SBC.

For phone line, I simply use a cell. It's cheap. But if you really want to have a local phone, both SBC and COX have their phone services. And you can get a package from them if you need mulutiple services.

As for the price, you need to check their websites to see if they have discounts. I believe there are special offers for students if you are one. If this is the case, try to search the information on your school's website.
