In the absence of external economies or external diseconomies, a firm’s costs remain constant as industry output changes.

在沒有出現外部經濟(外部利益)或者外部不經濟(外部成本)的情況下,當一個工廠的產量改變時,其成本仍然固定不變.

external economies外部經濟: 是指經濟個體的經濟行為對其他經濟個體產生利益,而自己又無法享受到的那個部份,又稱為外部利益.

external diseconomies外部不經濟: 是指經濟個體的經濟行為對其他經濟個體產生不利,而自己又不必負擔到的那個部份,又稱為外部成本.
