請問go over 和 plunge over 的意思一樣嗎

A man who went over Niagara Falls with only the clothes on his back and survived

will be charged with illeagally performing a stunt.

Kirk is the first person known to have plunged over the falls without safety devices.

請問go over 和 plunge over 的意思一樣嗎?

這是AP(應是 Associated Press )刋出的文章。

Surviving a leap fom Niagara Falls had intrigued Jones for years, said his mother, who had spoken to him only briefly since the jump.

依照上下文意思,"go over Niagara Falls " 及 "plunged over the falls" 都應是跳(投)入尼加拉瀑布之意,確實與您建議之 "jump into" 用法相同。 News or other people's composure,

至於 plunge over, 個人覺得還是用 plunge into 較妥,就如 jump into 一般,不過 plunge over 比較有 衝著(如刀刺般)躍入的感覺...

Surviving a leap fom Niagara Falls had intrigued Jones for years, said his mother, who had spoken to him only briefly since the jump.---> 由尼加拉瀑布這一跳且活著回來之後,卻已持續在精神方面困擾瓊斯先生許多年,這是據他的媽媽所說的,而她也只有在這一跳之後和瓊斯先生有過短暫交談...
