4-曝氣槽內之操作條件為:溶氧之供應約2~3mg/L,溶氧之測定可以攜帶式溶氧測定儀現場測定,或取水樣至實驗室內以疊氮滴定法測定;BOD5面積負荷以4gBOD5/m2.d(預設值)條件下進行。

5-因初期原污水內之BOD5濃度約為75mg/L,且該曝氣槽內之水容量為1100m3,經計算其BOD5面負荷約為1.0gBOD5/m2.d(生物濾材之接觸面積為100m2/m3),故須適當添加額外營養源,使其達到預設值條件下操作,其添加之營養源可用粗砂糖以每日6~8次之頻率分散加至槽內各處。

6-次日之馴養:因懸浮之活性污泥尚未完全附著於生物濾材上,因此不宜將此槽內之水更換,為能達到BOD5之負荷,同樣須以額外之添加營養源加以馴養。

7-持續6之操作步驟約5日後,取出預先安置於槽內之生物濾材觀察,可發現生物已附著於濾材上,其生物暯厚度約1mm,此時,引入原污水水量約設計處理水量的50%,且連續流動之操作方式,經計算其BOD5面積負荷約為2.5gBOD5/m2.d,為使生物成長之營養源充足,故另須適當加入額外營養源,使其以預設值條件下操作,因此時水力停留時間約8小時,故營養源之添加每日約3次。

8-以7之步驟持續馴養約5日後,取出生物濾材觀察,可發現生物膜厚度約生長至2mm,此時引入設計處理之水量操作;本實廠案例因初期污水量僅為單池設計量之45%,故以此水量及不加營養源方式連續操作,此操作方式初期因BOD5負荷較馴養期為低,生物會死脫落,水池內稍有黑色混濁現象,但3~5%天之緩衝期後即可穩定。
