Whose quotation?
Who said:" Keep your friend close and your enemy closer"?
I used to think it's from Sun-tzu. If someone can tell me from which chapter it will be cool.
I don't believe this quote is from any movie...

This has been attributed to the Chinese writer Sun Tzu.

I looked at this a little bit closer and I think I found the English translation of Sun Tzu's works to where this quote is actually derived:
40. "If our troops are no more in number than the enemy,
that is amply sufficient; it only means that no direct attack
can be made. What we can do is simply to concentrate all
our available strength, keep a close watch on the enemy,
and obtain reinforcements."
