I even got used to their habit of wearing street shoes in the house even jumping on the couch with their shoes on.
I really apprecitated my homestay family – they would often chat with me and encourage me to try out my English, and with their help, my listening comprehension really improved a lot.
Our study program at Pierce College enabled us to meet and make friends with other students from all over the world. We would have class together, chat together and go shopping together after school. It makes me feel so happy to know that we still keep in touch with those new friends.
