How do people greet one another in the global village?

In general,Asians hardly greet each other by touching.For example,in China and Taiwan,people nod or shake hands.In japan and Korea,people bow.However,japanese demonstrate politeness by nodding several times.It's common to se Japanese nod five or six times to show how friendly they are.Compared with Japanese,Koreans prefer nodding once sincerely.

In Africa,the most common way to say hi is to raise the right hand,and place the palm outward toward someone.This action shows you are not armed.

In the U.S.,England and Germany,people greet each pther by waving,shaking hands and nodding.The French kiss the cheeks to say hello and goodbye.The ltalians hug each other to show their friendliness.And,inNew Zealand.theMaoris touch their noses twice,exchanging a breath to greet one another.

No matter how we greet,the most important is: it has to come from our hearts. In the future,wherever you are,don't forget to show your politeness.
