    Features【Eave decorations】Both the Haishen Temple and Wenchang Pavilion have double-eave round hip roofs, and the top eave has long corners curving upward.  The tail has leaping carp decorations spitting out bubbles.  These decorations have formed a fabulous and vivid picture.【Stone turtle tablets】After the successful suppression of the revolt led by Lin, Suang-wun during the Cianlong Reign, Emperor Cianlong wrote five epics to commemorate the event.  He also made them inscribed on stone tables in Manchurian and Chinese.  These tablets are the stone turtle tablets at Chihkanlo.  They are the most magnificent and characteristic tablets in Taiwan.【Turtle base】The base of these stone turtle tablets is made of granite, about 80cm tall.  The stone turtle is called bici, one of the nine sons of dragon.  It likes carrying heavy objects on its back; therefore, it is often used as the base of tablets.【Stone horse】The horse was originally a stone sculpture placed in front of the tomb of Ching military officer Jheng, Ci-ren who was killed in the revolt led by Lin, Suang-wun.  It was moved here later.  According to the rules of the Ching Dynasty, government officials (including military officers) can put stone statutes or stone sculptures of animals in front of their tombs.【Hongmao Well】There is an ancient well located between Haishen Temple and Wenchang Pavilion.  It was the water source of the Dutch living in Chihkanlo. Another source says that the Dutch used this well for communication with Provintia and escaped to Anping.  These stories have made Puluominjhe, the well, the secret tunnel mysterious and romantic.
