National Palace Museum (國立故宮博物院), which is the most famous art gallery and museum in Taiwan. Located in Taipei, the largest city of Taiwan, the National Palace Museum collected various numbers of Chinese artifacts within it and several items are well-known at all times and in all countries such like Jade Cabbage and meat-shaped stone.
The Jade Cabbage is a piece of jade carved into the shape of a head of cabbage with an insect attached. The fame attached to this piece is due to the masterful utilization of natural color variations in the jade to recreate color variations in the cabbage. The other one, meat-shaped stone, is a piece of agate, the strata of which are cleverly used to create a likeness of a piece of pork cooked in soy sauce.
Next time, if you want to enjoy the sights, sounds, tastes and modern-day in Taiwan, don't forget to put this attraction in to your schedules and be careful, don't be confused with the Palace Museum in Beijing.
