Getting enough exercise is important to stay healthy.But according to a survey released on November8, more than one-third of Taiwanese over the age of 13 do not get enough exercise.

Only 38 percent of Taiwanese between the ages 18-65 do regular activities during the day-such as walking, housework, leisure activities and commuting. The survey also found that 26-45 age

group spends seven hours a day sitting on a chair. An appropriate

daily level of physical activity should be at least 30 minutes and

five days a week, letting the heartbeat speed up to around 120

times per minute. An assistant professor from Yang Ming University

concluded that "Taiwanese are not only lack of exercise, but also

lazy at moving.

Stop spending your time on watching TV or lying on the couch. Get up and do some activities to keep you live on a good life.
