這裡有些句子, (每一句都有幾個字括號, 是等一下會用到的) 可以幫忙翻譯(or解釋)一下嗎? 謝謝 :

1. I undid it just so much that a single thin ray fell upon the (vulture eye).

我第二句是這樣寫的, 能幫我看一下嗎?

"vuture" "the eye" 讓人聯想到→simster, evil, ugly...

2. Simile

使人聯想到→dark room, black, not clean...

3. Simile

ray of light, spiders thread, thin....

4. Simile

"watch in cotton" and "heart" →dull, smoothered, muffed...

只要句子中有出現 like 或 as 的話就是simile喔~

至於第二個問題嘛..
