--nibble tactic is a negotiating strategy which negotiator has an ultimate goal in mind and tries to reach it by elevating its negotiating price little by little, i.e., taking a "nibble" at a time (nibble=tiny little portion of a whole)
-- negotiation counterpart is the one you're negotiating against. whereas, negotiation partner is the one you're working with on the same side.
