不定詞句型

1.hope, expect, want, mean, try, agree, promise, refuse, prepare, pretend等動詞,表示請求、想要、打算、試圖、答應、拒絕、準備、假裝做某事,後接不定詞。(例: hope + to 原形V)

eg~

I hope you can come next Saturday.

I don't want to be late.

I don't expect to win the competition.

hope的用法，你可以查字典。若後接動詞，其句型為hope to VR，之所以加原動的原因在於這裡的to為不定詞，不定詞後的動詞，用原形。在某些片語中，to是當介詞，若後接動詞，當然以V-ing形式表現，如：the key / answer to + N / V-ing「…的關鍵/答案」。例：Studying hard is the key to going to a public university.(用功是上國立大學的關鍵。)
