Last week, my neighbor ordered a cake for his wife's birthday party. He asked the baker to inscribe1 the following compliments2 on the cake: ''You Are Not Getting Older, You Are Just Getting Better.'' The baker asked my neighbor how he wanted the message arranged, he told the baker, ''Just put 'You Are Not Getting Older' at the top3 and 'You Are Just Getting Better' at the bottom.''
When that day came, as my neighbor was ready to serve the cake at the party, he found it read: ''You Are Not Getting Older at the Top, You Are Just Getting Better at the Bottom.''
