1. Human Resources tries to ____employees' understanding by offering

workshops twice a year.

(A) reinforce (B) reinforcing (C) reinforced (D) reinforcement

2. Senior employees are often asked to ____ office procedures.

(A) verbally (B) verbalize (C) verbal (D) verbalizing

3. Although the dress code(A) used to be very formal(B) , it has become

much more casually(C) as the executives were exposed to(D) the local

business atmosphere.

來形容 used ?

    1. Human Resources tries to ____employees' understanding by offering

    workshops twice a year.

    2. Senior employees are often asked to ____ office procedures.

    (A) verbally (B) verbalize (C) verbal (D) verbalizing

    ask to 這個to 是不定詞的to,所以應該要接一般動詞原形。

B ---> it has become much more casually

    She became much more beautiful.

    ex: The flower smells good.

    John fells happy today.

Although the dress code used to be very formal, it has become

much more casual as the executives were exposed to the local

    business atmosphere.

used to be very formal --->此處的used to 片語意思是:過去一向...

    後面的be是be動詞,be very後面一定加形容詞

ex: I used to be happy.

We'll try to improve our teaching methods.

I asked her to get in touch with Henry as soon as possible.

(3)選項<A>中的 used to be very formal

    formal(adj) , formally(adv)

You are very beautiful.

    I am very excellent.

    formal放在very後面 是用來形容前面的名詞 the dress code

    而之所以用casual(形容詞)不用casually(副詞)
