因為社會性教育的保守,導致大部分的青少年對避孕不是很了解,但因社會的進步,促使青少年越來越早對於性的好奇, 而想去嘗試,但卻沒有很多正確性知識及避孕的常識,導致台灣近幾年的墮胎率嚴重攀高,居於亞洲之冠,最糟糕的是,台灣的風氣保守,一些青少年自知懷孕,皆不敢告知父母,告知朋友,告知師長,也不敢去醫院請專業的醫生施行手術,而都找一些私人無牌照的醫院來進行墮胎手術,這樣的人在台灣青少年占相當大的比例,其中的危險性可想而知!
