The naming of capuccino is based on something really amusing. Back in the times of Roman Emperor, the priests working under the Catholic church wore brown cloaks that resemble the wisp of foam on top of the capuccino, and hence the name. Capuccino is different to other milk coffee beverages in that it contains an equal amount of froth and hot milk. In other words, a cappuccino would have the same proportion for espresso coffee base, hot milk and velvety froth. Yet, sometimes it is not limited to being in the exact proportions, therefore, certain degree of adjustments can be made to your liking.
