1. 要用 very much (so much其實是不對的用法)

2. 我知道你用 i think 是想表達你''大蓋''懂了的意思

所以其實你可以反過來說 your answer helps me a lot 來保留一點空間 ,以後可以繼續發問, i think 會讓看的人覺得 那你到底懂不懂.

Definitely ok :)

Slightly better would be:

"Thank you so much for a swift reply. I think I understood what you wrote/said."

However, this is quite informal. Is this a business letter?
