    Hi,

    關於第一題.3.Can assume only certain clearly separated values.

    不符合a discrete variable的特性, 因為a discrete variable是用來表達whole units or mutually exclusive categories. 譬如性別可分為男或女, 我們就可假設男是1, 女是2, 這都是我們為研究設定的整數值, 並不代表真實的數值.

    關於第三題.

    幫選項分類必須做到exhaustive and mutually exclusive(窮盡與互斥)才能使each object放置在一個最適當的位置. 譬如年紀, 分類可為(1)25歲或以下 (2)26-35歲 (3)36-45歲 (4)46-55歲 (5)56歲或以上 任何年紀的object都僅可歸類在一個選項中, 這樣研究者才能夠做比較及分析
