我們應用Goldratt博士在1986年提出之『限制理論』(Theory of Constraints；TOC)著手進行本次研究。藉由TOC限制理論所倡導的思維程序與管理哲學，描述問題的因果關係，找出阻礙組織提升經營績效的少數因素『限制』或『瓶頸』(Constraints)，擬出解決瓶頸問題的預期理想目標，並將達成此理想目標所具互相排斥的需求因素與必要條件列出來，尋求可能的改善方案改善問題, 甚至將瓶頸問題轉化為優點，增加線上購物系統競爭力，維護並增進消費者線上購物權益。
