How do you get along

How do you get along? 與 How are you getting along?

He was seated in the corner.

was + P.P.

    1. "How are you getting along" 意指 "How are you doing?" "What progress are you making?", 是一種見面時問候的話(to start a conversation), 你可以回答: "I'm getting along just fine" or "I'm Ok", or "Things are fine" or "How about you?"

    2. How do you get along?

應該是: "How do you get along with someone?"

e.g. Can't we all get along?

    3. 所以兩者有很大差別, "How are you getting along?"

    4. "He was seated in the corner." or "He sat in the corner."
