RexLaboro:jaremiester, your right. This IS stupid. Why would a movie where a guy turns into a green monster reference another ridiculous character? Keep up the good work. Your a genius.

jaremiester:Well thank you, but I wouldn't go so far as to call myself a genius, but your compliment is accepted I guess.

I do however take offense to the fact that you would call the Hulk a "ridiculous character." The Hulk is a classic comic book character and a staple of American culture.

(不過[your right]的確應該寫成[you're right])

    [reference]–verb (used with object)

    12. to furnish (a book, dissertation, etc.) with references: Each new volume is thoroughly referenced.

    13. to arrange (notes, data, etc.) for easy reference: Statistical data is referenced in the glossary.

    14. to refer to: to reference a file.

    http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/reference

Why would a movie where a guy turns into a green monster reference another ridiculous character?

There is indeed no reason for such a movie to reference another ridiculous character.

You're right. This IS stupid. Why would a movie where a guy turns into a green monster reference another ridiculous character? Keep up the good work. Your a genius.

Well thank you, but I wouldn't go so far as to call myself a genius, but your compliment is accepted I guess.

I do however take offense to the fact that you would call the Hulk a "ridiculous character." The Hulk is a classic comic book character and a staple of American culture.

    [staple]

Cotton is the staple of the area.

This store sells flour, salt, sugar and other staples.

    3. 主食

Sweet potato was the staple of their diet.

The weather forms the staple of their conversation.

RexLaboro: jaremiester, you're right. This IS stupid. Why would a movie where a guy turns into a green monster have reference to another ridiculous character? Keep up the good work? You're a genius.

    have reference to: 與...

have any reference to: 與...

    have little reference to: 與...

    have no reference to: 與...

    have close reference to: 與...

jaremiester: Well, thank you, but I wouldn't go so far as to call myself a genius, but your compliment is accepted I guess.

I do however take offense to the fact that you would call the Hulk a "ridiculous character." The Hulk is a classic comic book character and a staple of American culture.
