去掉附屬連接詞 although can 將take改為taking

這樣改是否正確

主詞相同的分詞構句(多數情況): Ving ..... , S + V

例: Walking down the street, I came across an old friend.

例: Not knowing what to do, Peter went to his teacher for advice.

主詞不同的分詞構句(少情況): S1 + Ving ..... , S2 + V

例: The situation being unclear, we'd better wait a bit longer.

例: The dog running very fast, I cannot catch up with it.

這樣改是否正確

- 這樣改並不是很理想, 因為漏掉了Although與can的語意. Although是帶有轉折意味的連接詞, 不宜逕刪; can的分詞形態是being able to.

- 一般句子是先有名詞, 其後才可用它的代名詞與所有格, 但分詞片語允許先出現代名詞與所有格.

主詞不同→ We being able to take its advantages, cell phone is not without its defects though. (把although轉為副詞though放到句尾)

主詞相同→ Although being able to be taken its advantages, cell phone is not without its defects.

以上只是文法上的改法, 其實原句改為分詞構句並未精簡多少, 故改的必要性不高.
