The parables is the most famous form used by Jesus in his teaching, around 35%of his teaching were in parabolic form. There are some of the parables were familiar to everyone like“being a good Samaritan”,“wheat and weeds”and others.

A parable, basic on Greek understanding is an analogy, an illustrative story. Jesus often used parables to illustrate his messages, so his audiences could understand better. Also Jesus taught in parables to avoid his opponents tried to find faults with his messages then opposed him. The materials of Jesus’ parables were from his own observations and everyday experience, they are not fables or fairy tales. In addition, Jesus’ parables were authentic, it came from Jesus himself, not like the literature of Judaism.

There are four period of time for the interpretation of the parables such as The Early Church Fathers, The Middle Ages, The Reformation and Post- Reformation Period and The Modern Period. In the modern period, Julicher told us to seek the one main point of the parable, don’t emphasize the details;seek to understand what Jesus tried to express;seek to understand how the evangelist interpreted the parables in life and seek to understand what God is teaching us today through the parable.

Parable is the most famous form of teaching used by Jesus. Around 35% of his teachings were parabolical. Some of the parables were familiar to everyone, such as "being a good Samaritan", "wheat and weeds", and others.

A parable, based on Greek understanding, is an analogy, an illustrative story. Jesus often used parables to illustrate his messages, so his audience could understand better. Also Jesus taught in parables to avoid fault-finding by his opponents who tried to find faults with his messages and then used them against him. Materials of Jesus' parables were from his own observation and daily experience. They were not fables or fairy tales. Jesus' parables were authentic. They came from Jesus himslf, unlike the literature of Judaism.

    audience s.

There are four periods of time for the interpretation of the parables: the Early Church Fathers, the Middle Ages, the Reformation and post-Reformation, and the modern period. In the modern period, Julicher told us to seek the one main point of the parable; don't emphasize the details; seek to understand what Jesus tried to express; seek to understand how the Evangelist interpreted the parables in life and seek to understand what God is teaching us today through the parable.
