在今天 Taipei Times , US Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke 說:

Recent economic statistics have been dismal, with many economies, including ours, having fallen into recession.

Recent economic statistics have been dismal, with many economies, including ours, fallen into recession.

Recent economic statistics have been dismal, with many economies, including ours, having fallen into recession.

    可以用[fallen]; 但[having fallen]不是[which have fallen 的簡潔處理].

    這種[sentence A], with [participle phrase B]的句型, 其含意是:

At the same time when many economies, including ours, have fallen into recession, recent economic statistics have been dismal.

I am done with my exams. (=[have completed])

The spring is come. (=[has been here])

The slaves were soon found working together, working so hard their independence was bought from their owners, who found naught to do with hundreds of people done with their work.

With pastors fallen into sinner, it is truly encouraging when one pastor can serve the Lord so faithfully for so long, and twice elected president of SBC.

Recent economic statistics have been dismal, with many economies, including ours, fallen into recession.

At the same time when many economies, including ours, are fallen into recession, recent economic statistics have been dismal.

I think that "with" is used as a function word to specify an additional circumstance or condition:

    http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/with

For example: We climbed the hill, with Jeff following behind.

= We climbed the hill, followed by Jeff.

Recent economic statics have been dismal, with many economies having fallen into recession

= Followed by many economies which have fallen into recession, recent economic statics have been dismal.

Recent economic statistics have been dismal;Recent economic statistics having fallen into recession.

    2.----economies, having fallen into recession.

    ---economies, falling into recession.
