"Is it ever justified or right to break an unjust law? Why or why not?"

It depends on what you think.
Why is there an unjust law?
We know the law is made to protect people, it gives people standards to follow. When we make laws, we must think about all the situations.
We need to make laws by the fundamental moralities of life in our country. It needs to be convinced by people. Then it could bring its efficacy into full play and make the world in peace.
Even though you're justified, you need to be punished for breaking the law.
For exemple, someone killed a conscienceless man who had committed several rapes . Can you say that he is innocent? Even if the man raped his wife, he shoudn't killed him. There's still some ways to solve.
We shouldn't break the law by any reason anyhow.參考資料： me

No matter what, you have to obey the law according to which county you live, even though you or others think it is unjust, such as in some Muslim countries, a man can legally have many wives.
Laws are established customs, i.e. it is a kind of legally formed consensus. However, time changes, people’s values and believes change also and that is why we need legislators. If some law has been most people seen as outdated or unjust, people can modify or abolish it through legal process.
