調酒的由來

調酒的由來有很多種傳說,有的說是為了紀念美國的南北戰爭雙方約定在聖誕節停戰,雙方一起於小酒吧喝酒,老闆高興的烤了一隻火雞慶祝,在拔去火雞羽毛時覺得很漂亮,就裝飾在調酒之上因此得名。

又有人說是

18世紀的美國,

有位餐廳的老闆遺失了他心愛的火雞,

於是他貼出了公告,

只要找到他的火雞,

他就將女兒嫁給他

後來找到火雞的事一位年輕英俊的軍官

女兒非常的高興,

見面當時就調製了許多的的酒來招待他

調製的酒非常的美味可口,

又因為與火雞有關,

就以火雞的尾巴[Cack.tail]來命名.

調酒的盛行:

美國在1919-1933年14年的期間因宗教的關係實施禁酒令,

但對酒鬼而言這實在是件"不可能的任務",

因此,一些違法的私酒便開始氾濫於大街小巷中,

不過這些私酒的品質想當然自是不堪入喉,

於是人們便在其中加入了果汁.糖漿和甜酒混合調製飲用,

因此,許多的雞尾酒便由此誕生了

美國在禁酒令解除後,馬上掀起一陣雞尾酒的熱潮,

雞尾酒的成份

「雞尾酒」有三大基本成分:

「基本酒」(BASE WINE)

「調緩溶液」(或香味媒體)

及「加色加味溶液」。

「基本酒」是一杯雞尾酒的主體,常見的有琴酒、伏特加、蘭姆、白蘭地、威士忌及葡萄酒。

「調緩溶液」用來襯托並引導出基本酒之韻味,俾與之相輔相成。常用的是各種果汁、奶油、汽水、咖啡、茶、蛋。

常見的「加色加味溶液」有石榴甜漿、杏仁果漿或各類水果酒、草藥酒。
