the books which are on the

the books which are on the counter 是由 i bought the books 跟 the books are on the counter 組成的

那麽 the man was wearing a hat 跟 i served the man 可否寫為the man who was wearing a hot 但書是這樣的 the man who i served was wearing a hot 這樣兩個動詞走在一起不是怪怪的嗎

    I bought the books. “Book”

The books are on the counter. “The books”

I bought the books which were on the counter.

The books which were on the counter…這不是完整的句子,因為“which were on the counter” 是book的形容詞子句,用來說明book.

The man was wearing a hat. I served the man.

被併成The man who I served was wearing a hat.

    Who在這裡是man的關係代名詞,帶出”who I served”是the man的形容詞子句,用來說明the man。
