Did you attend the selection for playing piano at the Taipei music hall this year?

Then, have you been selected and performed at the stage?

Did you attend the selection of playing piano at the Taipei Music Hall this year?

Did you sign up for the selection of playing piano at the Taipei Music Hall this year?

    sign up for + N = 報名參加... ...

And then, were you selected/promoted to perform at the stage?

I'd say "Did you attend the auditions for playing the piano at the

London Music Hall this year ? If you did, were you selected and

have you performed on stage yet?"

I can see that is not quite like native speakers would say it, anyway

    hope it helps

I don't know what to say, and can't believe it, wasn't selected...

all right than, I am not an English teacher at all..
