立體童書本著童書的性質加上玩具和遊戲的功能,展現豐富的多元性和文化性,但在立體童書這塊市場,卻不如傳統平面童書一般受到一般消費者的欽賴。但近年來家長越來越重視子女的教育,對童書的選擇也相對較重視,為了解出版立體童書是否符合消費者行為、購買立體童書決策因素等,從消費者的特性、生活形態來看,進而探究其相互關連。本研究對象為一般消費者,採用便利抽樣,使用問卷調查法,生活形態、消費者行為、購買決策、人口統計變數等變數設計問卷,使用信度分析、敘述統計、因素分析、卡方檢定、t檢定、單因子變數分析、雪費(Scheffe)多重比較分析、皮爾遜積差相關分析等方法來進行資料分析。透過此次的研究,得到的結果為不同的人口統計變項對消費者行為,購買決策因素有所影響;不同生活型態的消費者對購買行為、購買決策因素有所影響;不同的購買決策因素對消費者的行為有所影響,以及對產品價格、通路、促銷、品牌與知名度等重視程度不同,其消費行為也有所不同。消費者認為購買立體童書比一般童書對於兒童更具有啟發性,並認為購買立體童書對於其他啟發性的遊戲或玩具更具意義;立體童書的獨特性,消費者對於其收藏慾望也很大;立體童書的價格比一般童書在價格上偏昂貴,因此與消費者的購買和經濟能力有關;立體童書像是在紙上的跳躍的玩具,有別於傳統童書的呆板,其用途很多,像是用於教學用途。所以對於購買立體童書與消費者的職業有關;由於立體童書的銷貨通路不多,以較大的連鎖書店為主(例:誠品),所以購買立體童書與消費者的生活型態有關聯。
