At this point, going back to taiwan after graduate is something i will not consider at all, unless it's hopeless to stay, so i must figure something in order to stay, but not causing my family financial issues, and something is actaully possible and helpful.
@ Gary :

Bachelor of Science in Biology: Pre-Pharmacy

I assume you are a F-1 Student or similar legal non-immigrant status.
You say you don't want to leave. In this, I will say all answers will disappoint you. In most of the cases, you have to leave as it is difficult to get a job and the employer is good enough to sponsor you a visa. Even more, you have to compete for the visa quota.
The only chance you have is to find a boyfriend or girlfriend and get married before you graduate. This is the only method.
Of course, you can try Diversity Visa Lottery. Again, if you are lucky enough.
In answering your questions:
1. Never rely on scholarships, especially you are not a legal immigrant. Scholarships, in most of cases, are not designed for you.
2. Community colleges are 2-year, not 1-year.
3. The price tag (cost of enrollment) for college/university includes your living. So adjusting your living style can lower your cost.
4. GCU does not offer medical program. So there is no medical school. See the following for detail:
5. GCU is not accredited by AACSB, the leading accreditation body for world-class business school.
6. GCU sounds too good to be truth.
7. All non-immigrants are not eligible to loan (due to its ability to repay).
If you are an illegal immigrant, please respond for further options.

Make sure you are for sure about the scholarship.
Also, make sure your state's RN Board accredits GCU before you study.

there are several reasons that ppl choose to go to a 2-year/community college over a 4-year collge. one is their hs gpa isn't good enough for the school of their choice, and they plan to use that 2 yrs in cc to get a good enough gpa in order to transfer to the school of their choice.

still, there is a risk that transfer may not be accepted after all. do you think you have whatever (determination, disciplines, etc.) it takes to undertake this 2-year plan and succeed? it will be ur decision to make.

the second reason is cost. tuition at a cc is relatively cheaper than a 4-yr college. since workload won't be as demanding, some would try to work part-time to supplement their fundings from parents/loan/scholarship. working will take time away from studying & may have an impact on their grades.

some would try to take as many credits as possible in hope to finish up earlier, but end up biting more than what they can chew. their grades take a hit, and affect their chance of transfer. these are the pitfalls to watch out for.

4 u, money is an issue, going to cc wont solve money issue, it's to minimize the total cost of getting bachelor. it does add some uncertainties along the way. it's ur decision
u'd want to consider need- & merit-based financial aid. check w/ ur hs advisors, see what r available to u

i checked gcu website, it's a private christian college. it may be helpful if you are staying local after graduation. in my opinions, it won't open many doors for you.

there is no perfect solution. good luck with whatever you decide on. :)

如果你以後要待在美國工作學校並不一定要前五十名,但也不要挑學店...你可以申請國際學生貸款,但前題是要有一位信用良好的美國公民當保人. There are some universities offer in-state tuition for "international transfer student" (if you transfer from a community college with good GPA).
如果有身份問題要考量的話念護理很快就有工作及辦身份, 念藥劑也不錯薪水也高但讀的時間較長希望對你有幫助的時間較長希望對你有幫助.參考資料： Myself
