    3.(d)under perfect competition,the industry-wide demand curve slopes down

    and the individual firm demand curve is virtually flat

    這題是有關perfect competition=完全競爭,意思是很多賣家賣同樣的物品給很多買家所構成的市場。

    以整個市場來看的話,如果大家同時降低商品價錢,需求量當然提高因為便宜。如果大家同時提高商品價錢,需求量當然降低因為太貴。所以industry-wide demand curve slopes down,意即需求曲線會是往下的。

    單獨看一個公司的話,如果它自己一家提高價錢的話,沒有顧客會去買它的產品的因為別的公司也賣相同的物品價錢也沒有比較高。所以the individual firm demand curve is virtually flat,意即需求曲線會是水平的。

    (c)there is only one buyer in the market 只有一個人買生產量要怎麼增加?

    (d)the goverment provides a subside to sellers in the amount of NT$33

    for every unit they sell 政府補助for every unit they sell 表示成本可以降低,生產量自然增加

    Increasing returns to scale意思是average costs decline as output increases,意即平均成本降低時,生產量增加。

    噢對了,第5題,fixed cost是固定的,但是只有在短期(short run)。

    因為店面租金都是有期限的嘛!(通常都幾年而已)

    No costs would be fixed in the long run!! :D

    第1題 圖表的橫軸是Quantity需求量,縱軸是Price per unit價錢

    第4題的A有點誤導,我想說的是: 賣多少"價錢"是由市場決定,不是賣方。

    所以只要把...at a fixed price改成...at a market price就可以成立。
