請教英文高手海底火山的英文文章

我正在寫海底火山的英文文章 可否幫我糾正以下文章括號地方的錯誤及其他錯誤.謝謝您

Water is cold, but volcanoes are hot! (So is it hot or cold for the underwater volcanoes?) Surprise! The answer is both. The inside part of the volcanoes are really hot, the temperature is about 100oC, but the hot lava isn’t hot anymore! In fact, it turns black and it is gone! About 20% of all volcanoes are under water, and it erupts 250 times annually. We know of at least (1,500) active underwater volcanoes around the world. Volcanoes are really tall, do you know how are they formed? Volcanoes are mountains that build taller and taller, with time, as they erupt. That’s means molten rock, magma, comes from within the earth and erupts onto the surface, and (once the magma is flat, a lava flow comes out.) Remember, the underwater volcanoes are on the ocean floor. Most volcanoes are 10,000 to 100,000 years old — it takes time for them to grow big. Volcanoes make many different types of rocks.( Black shiny rocks with only a few crystals are usually basalt.)

Do you think volcanoes are only on lands? If you think so, then you are wrong! It was estimated that there may be more than (100,000) active underwater volcanoes! They also produce hot lava, but guess what? Hot lava( quench )quickly! (Although the lava is cool now, )but the inside part of the volcano is still boiling hot! And some of the volcanoes seem to erupt forever! They can live as long as 100,000 years old, and that is for the active volcanoes. The oldest volcano is over 350,000 years old. When underwater volcanoes erupt, some black air will come out in the air, which is because lava turns black when it meets water.

Do you know why you often see some islands on the ocean? Have you ever wonder where those islands from? In some cases, underwater volcanic eruptions and create new islands.

(Black shiny rocks with only a few crystals are usually basalt.) --> The shiny, black rocks with barely any crystals are usually basalt.

Hot lava (quench) quickly! --> Hot lava are quickly quenched as they enter the water.

(Although the lava is cool now, )but the inside part of the volcano is still boiling hot! --> Despite the lava being cool, the inside of the volcano is still boiling hot!

Do you know why you often see some islands on the ocean? --> Do you know why you see islands out in the middle of the ocean every so often?

Have you ever wonder where those islands from? --> Have you ever wondered where those islands came from?

In some cases, underwater volcanic eruptions and create new islands. --> In some cases, underwater volcanic eruptions have caused new islands to form.
