很多翻法都可以. 考慮英文形容詞 大與少的對比, 我這麼翻:

世界很大, 時間很少. The world is great, but time is little.

great and little 作對比.

or

This is a great world; but the time I have is little.

--> 強調 "我所擁有的時間" 很少,

有 "所擁有的時間不夠我在這廣大世界探險"的意味".

此外,換上以下的同義詞都可以:

"大" 這個形容詞可以用: big, great, huge, enormous, gigantic, humongous,等等.

時間是不可數的名詞, 所以時間"少" 可以說: little, short(時間短).

little 有兩種意思: (時間)"少", 和"小"的意思. little & great 會形成很好的對比.
