關於英文詞性的一個小問題

It sounds cliche  ,  但sounds 後面不是要接形容詞嗎?可是cliche是名詞, 總覺得讀英文時有時候感覺一些句子用字時不會按照詞性,不知道是自己太孤陋寡聞了還是別的??懇求大大解惑

cliche一字在英語國家有兩種寫法:
1)  cliché 這是來自法文的外來語, 英文鍵盤打é不方便, 就把那一撇省略, 而寫為cliche.
"It sounds cliche"用google帶引號搜尋, 可得162,000例 (包含cliché)
"It sounds cliché"用google帶引號搜尋, 可得242,000例 (包含cliche)

2) cliched 這是英文的正版寫法.
"It sounds cliched"用google帶引號搜尋, 可得325,000例.

在正式英文cliche是名詞, 意思是陳腔濫調; cliched是形容詞, 意思是陳腐的.

People(especially Americans) are just too lazy to say all the words. Grammar is not their biggest concern, convenience is.

You should not be surprised that not all English speakers obeys grammatical rules all the time.  Also, when people are in a hurry, they tend to abbreviate, whether the grammar sanctions it or not ..

The grammatically correct version should read --- It sounds like a cliche.

The African Americans very often will say --- OK, this is my bad.

It is basically a shortened version of --- OK, this is my bad behavior.

Language is a living thing and you cannot get very far if you want to behave like a traffic policeman all the time ..

我不知道你是在哪裡看到的‥‥‥不過現在國外其實很多詞語都不會照著原來的文法走，就連最簡單的Ｂｅ動詞也有人覺得太麻煩乾脆無論是你我他全部都用ｉｓ。

那句sounds cliche現在已經變為一個常用的俚語或片語了，所以不用那麼在乎文法啦。

不過如果是考試或作業的翻譯的話，還是乖乖來吧ＸＤ＂
