[背景]

台南原是台灣第一大城市,素有「一府」之稱號。台南為三百多年的歷史古城,經過了荷蘭、明鄭、清朝、日本等時期之都市演變,造就了多樣貌的都市紋理。在台灣的歷史發展中,台南有著無可取代的首要地位。然而作為台灣最早期開發的都市,三百年來所累積的傳統文化精華,使台南市擁有無可取代、數量多、建造精美且時代軌跡完整的古蹟、祠廟、碑坊等。台南的古蹟之多,首冠全台。這片土地上,經過了許多不同文化、人民的相傳及改良,必然衍生出許多名聞遐邇且歷史悠久的小吃及特產,在眾多文化產品的名目裡萬中選一,加以包裝行銷後,創造出另外一種足以代表台南文化特色。台南是美食特產與文化的古都,身在府城,教人怎抵抗這兩大誘惑。隨著近年周休二日的制定,還有休閒與工作並重的觀念日漸看重,國民旅遊的風潮開始掀起一波浪潮。而在這片處處是古蹟且美食小吃林立的古都裡,使我們想要規劃出一種能夠結合當地文化且獨特的產品。

[目的]

台南縣和台南市合併升格為台南府市,因此在文化產品和古蹟推廣方面極需含有吸引本地和外來觀光客的中英介紹簡介、英文諺語教學以及新穎外觀之文化產品的形象設計。故本研究設定在用實體呈現;開始與有意結盟的廠商合作後,針對廠商的原有商品進行包裝的新設計,把外包裝跟台南地區的古蹟做一個獨特創新與中英簡介的融合。希望藉由如此創新的外包裝設計,讓民眾感受到有別於一般的產品形象,幫原本的產品可以提升其附加價值,使其讓顧客對於此產品有新鮮感、或幫新產品添加一層懷舊的面紗,也把府城古蹟的美推銷到其他各地。

[Research problems]

1.因須利用產品的外包裝來改造 所以文化產品的外型 只能夠擇取有"外盒包裝"物品

2.尋找合作的店家的過程 因"古蹟行銷"的目的 而必須縮小至古蹟鄰近的商圈去尋找

3.某些店家可能因歷史悠久與堅持傳統 自認已有一套成熟且固定的經營模式 以致沒有合作意願

4.因考量合作廠商的資本額可能不高 所以在設計及後續製作方面的過程中 廠商所需用到的資源提供 可能相當有限

5.在同業的名氣與品牌風格都已深植且打響了目前的消費市場和各族群的消費者之間 要再設計出獨樹一格的品牌形象 恐須付出加倍的心力與時間去開創

6.我們非設計學院及廣告傳播學院的本科系學生 所以在實做包裝設計 畫圖修圖 以及圖案位置編排所需的技術能力 和統計問卷所使用到的SPss軟體 也欠缺相關操作知識

    Chapter I

    Background

    Tainan is originally the largest city in Taiwan. It was used to be called " First capital". Tainan was a historical city for three hundred years. It went through urban changes from Holland, Ming Dynasty, Ching Dynasty and Japan and created many aspects of urban traits. In Taiwan's history, Tainan cannot be replaced. A large number of delicate historical sites, temples and monuments are top of Taiwan. On this land, it goes through different cultures and people's inheritance and refining. It certainly creates many well-known delicacy and specialty. Among tens of thousands of products, they are particularly selected. After packaging for sales, it represents Tainan most. Tainan is a city of delicacy and ancient culture city. One cannot resist delicacy when being in the city. Recent years' weekend vacation and people's emphasis on leisure activity has made travel gradually popular. In this ancient culture city with good food and historical sites everywhere, one idea pops out of our mind to create a product that combines with the local culture.

    Purpose:

    The combination of Tainan city and county as one big Tainan has made it necessary that the promotion of local products and historical sites should be launched by Chinese-English translation in order to attract foreign tourists. The English proverb teachings and the new designs of cultural products are also necessary. The research aims at the presentation of entity by cooperating with the ideal manufacturers to revolutionize the design of original products. The new product designs, coupled with Tainan's historical sites, can be uniquely demonstrated in both languages.

    By means of this newly-designed packaging, it is meant to impress the customers and enhance the additional value of original products for the sake of increasing customers' interest and nostalgia, also promoting the city's beauty nationwide.
