No, mid night is actually the start of a day ..

Look at it this way .. the start of January 16 is expressed as 00:00:00.

That is 1 second after the end of January 15 at 23:59:59 ..

I hope you get this right .. in case you need to catch a flight .. Many China Airlines flight leaves around midnight .. You might miss a flight if you do not get this right .. :-)

This is why new year Eve is the evening of December 31 .. because after 23:59:59 on that day is the new beginning of another year ..

mid : middle 午

night: night 夜

所以其實是16跨17號的0時喔!
