I was diagnosed to have Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) at September 2003 in Taiwan, and needed long term medication to control the RA symptoms. I also needed routine blood and urine analysis every three months
But after my move to the states at March 2008, I haven't had any blood or urine analysis or RA monitoring. However, I have been taking the medication. I am currently experiencing some discomfort: the pain in the femur head has affected my walking gesture, osteoporosis, constipation, high blood pressur and so on.
I am wondering if I need the routine blood and urine tests, and based on your professional judgement, do I need to be transfered to a specialist? Thanks

femur head is the name for 髖關骨, as you might know femur head is the highest part of the thigh bone, and connect to the hip joint. so you can simply tell your doctor as "hip joint pain"

I have had rheumatoid arthritis since Sep 2003.for a long time, I need to take medications for controling the illness and track the symdrome by urine test and blood test every 3 months.
the urine test and blood test have not been performed since Mar 2008. so far,I feel uncomfortable with the symdromes as sore on my hip joint, osteoporosis, astriction, hypertension etc.
shall I have to do the urine test and blood test this time ? judging from your experience, shall I need to tranfer to see a professional ？－－－－－－－－
