all the other的用法問題

Taipei is bigger all the other cities in Taiwan

請問為什麼other不用加S?難道這裡的all不是只"全部"?"全部"不是複數?

    Taipei is bigger then all the other cities in Taiwan.

    台北比其他在台灣的所有城市大。

    我覺得這個句子少了個 then

    為什麼other 不用加s?

    因為後面的cities 已經是複數了 (city→ cities)

    all the other cities 就是指 "其他所有的城市"

    如果你改成: Taipei is a bigger city than others in Taiwan.

    (台北是一個比台灣其它城市還要大的城市)

    這時候的others = other cities 就要加s

    大概就是這樣的意思... 所以要看句子怎麼寫的
