英文問題 the is 開頭

The is undercurrent of resentment against the new policy.

這句我大概能瞭解語意

想要知道文法有無錯誤,這個是從單字範例抄寫下來

但 我個人覺得 The is 開頭很奇怪

是文法用法還是？

    The打錯了, 應是There或This.

    (目前)存在著對政府怨恨的暗流.

    這是政府怨恨的暗流.

    這是針對此一新政策的怨恨暗流.

    against在這裡是「針對」之意

    against the new policy是修飾resentment(怨恨;憤慨)的片語.

    The is undercurrent of resentment against the new policy.

    這是絕對的錯誤的，應該是

    The undercurrent of resentment is against the new policy.

    動詞要接在主詞後面，因為並非疑問句

    就算是疑問句，the 後面也不可能加 is (be 動詞)
