    a. It rained too heavily yesterday for us to go mountain climbing.

    a. Yesterday, the rain was too heavy for us to go mountain climbing.

    b. It rained so heavily that we couldn't go mountain climbing yesterday.

    或是

    b. The rain was so heavy yesterday that we couldn't go mountain climbing.

像是it rained too heavy這邊,rain當動詞...heavy should be "heavily"(adv.)

還有go climbing a mountain....seems strange.

I'm not saying "go climbing~" or "go shopping" are wrong

I mean "go climbing a mountain" seems weird.

I have searched it on Google and i barely found someone says "go climbing a mountain"

"go mountain climbing" and "climb a mountain" are a lot more common.

However, if you think "go climbing a mountain" is wrong, then at least you should know the following is correct.: go shopping, go biking, go swimming, go hiking, go hunting ...and so on.

    a.

It rained too heavy for us to go mountain climbing yesterday.

    b.

The rain was so heavy that we couldn't go mountain climbing yesterday.
