動詞後有兩個副詞的修飾....
Although there are many different sizes and types of vending
machines, they all work basically in the same way.
書上寫basically和in the same way共同修飾動詞work
但是我覺得basically是修飾in the same way
就好像這句: These days, children read a lot less.
a lot修飾less, less修飾read.
想知道我的想法是否正確....

書上說的也沒錯, basically in the same way整箇副詞片語一起修飾work;
拆開來就是basically是修飾in the same way.
就好像這句: These days, children read a lot less.
a lot修飾less, less修飾read.
這句也一樣, a lot less整個副詞片語修飾read
拆開來就是a lot修飾less.
