    3.如果是要跟美國人打交道,最好是在信內寫上你想要打多少折,不然的話等他回信後他如果只願意打個1~2%的折扣,我相信你的公司也不會很高興,而且也很難再談下去,建議先砍個15~20%,試一下他們的底線,如果他們願意再談,至少還有機會.

    If you cannot lose the business, then don't even try to haggle. They will call your bluff.

    Per my understanding of US companies, 卑躬屈膝 probably will work in the same way as begging for passing grade from a good professor.

    However, I never saw a company say no to a reasonable proposal from loyal customer with long term commitment. try these:

    Seems like they dont have a choice since its been monopolized.

    They just want to have a cheaper price and the decision is on the seller, wether they want to do it or not.
