As a result of differing beliefs people has today. It is no longer realistic to have a partner for life. Traditionally, people believe that having a partner for life is one of the cultural belief that is rooted in religious definitions. However, that fact has changed as people now no longer see the role and significance of having a partner,. For example, religion used to to be an important and influential element to society but they are people who are free thinkers nowadays. It means they are people who are not devoted to any religion and do not believe in anything. As they are not a follower of any religion, they feel that it is ok not to have a partner for life as it shows that they are not going against any rule. Thus, having a partner for life is just an option instead of a mandatory rule that has to be obeyed.
