Old Town Flagstaff – park your car and walk around. If you go to the Grand Canyon in one day, leave early in the morning and plan to eat breakfast in old town Flagstaff at Macy’s.

*Phoenix – South Mountain Park – drive south on Central Ave until it ends. Follow the road to the summit. Go before sunset and watch the sunset. Bring cameras.
*Phoenix – WNBA Phoenix Mercury Game – America West Arena. Tickets are very inexpensive and it’s a good way to go to a professional sports event cheap. Make sure you see the very small exhibit of Phoenix Chinatown in the arena. (ask where it is) When they built the arena, they found Chinatown during the excavation!
