question#2, choosing (A)Mr. is also correct, but it is not as good as Miss Mary, because it is much formal and polite.

typo!
(B)miss mary ==> (B) Miss Mary
(B)Nice to meet, too ==> (B)Nice to meet you, too

Mary does use by some people as surname !!
If Mary is NOT a surname then, Mary Wu is a choice, but it is kind of rude, unless you are older than this person or you know this person well. Otherwise, it is better to use a title.

as surname ==> as a surname.

Well, if politeness is not a concern, then "(A)Mr." is also grammatically correct. At least, in military, they will answer "Good morning, Mr. (or Sir)".

If "Mary" can actually be a surname, then "Miss Mary" is better answer right ?

Well, if it has to be so surgically precise, I can only rest my case !

I thought the enquirer was asking for grammatical correctness, not grammatical politeness.

"Good morning, Mister." is correct.
"Good morning, Mr." is not.

You only "rest your case" if your point has been proven or supported by my remark, neither of which I find fitting in the present scenario.

Mary is not a surname. It is improper to call one Miss Mary.
Therefore, only Mary Wu is the only possible answer to question 2.
