"to be used to" is for something is normal, not unusual. For examples:

I am used to living on my own.

I am not used to cold weather.

He is used to driving on the left-side, because he has lived in English for years.

"to get used to" is for something in the process of becoming normal. For examples:

My student got used to my accent after a few weeks in class.

He gradually gets used to sleeping during the day time.

I start getting used to living in the countryside.

By the way, "to" in both cases is a preposition, so the verb that follows after "to" needs to be in V-ing form
