米仔麩的英文?

請問有人知道米仔麩 的英文為何嗎?

是出國要寫在申報單裡過海關用的,謝謝!

    如果是小嬰兒吃的那個

    叫做rice creral

    如果是糙米除下來的那個米糠

    叫做bran

    如果是米的外殼

    叫做chaff

    如果是糙米

    叫做brown rice

    (對不起因為我不確定米仔麩是什麼)

    淮山Chinese yam

    蓮子lotus seed

    茯苓hoelen, poria, tuckahoe, China root, fu ling

    芡實fox nut, foxnut, makhana, nikori

    糙米brown rice

    薏仁Job's Tears, Coixseed, Tear Grass, adlay, or adlai

    麥片oatmeal

    黃豆soybean

    黑豆black bean

    所以我會用multi-grain cereal

    麩不是一種粉狀的東西嗎

    而且裡面的東西並不是都是bran

    其實嚴格說起來裡面的東西並不是全部都是穀類

    multi-grain我都覺得不太對

    雖然我自己也是這樣寫

    cereal並不是一定都是局限於片狀的喔

    本來想寫baby cereal

    因為如果寫baby cereal

    英語系國家的一定知道那是粉狀的了

    可是因為不確定那是不是小嬰兒吃的

    所以乾脆改成powder mixture好了

    可是bran is the outer layer of cereal grains

    米仔麩裡面並不是全部都是cereal grains

    有beans有roots有fungi

    yeah i just found out through my search that 茯苓is a kind of fungus.

    If it's strictly 米糠, then yes, bran would be the word to use. But since 米仔麩 is not strictly from bran of grains in its ingredient, and the word bran is not a word that can be used loosely, I ruled out the use of bran.

    米仔麩-將材料(四神,糙米...)爆開,用研磨機器將爆開的材料個別磨成細粉,再依比例加入些許的糖混合,就是米仔麩成品了

    I think, "multi-grain bran" might be better, because it is in powder form, not in flake form.

    I don't know about cereal for baby, but if it is cereal people eat for breakfast, it is usually in flake form. As far as "米仔麩" is concerned (based upon my memory, I have NOT had it for a long time), as I know it is always in powder form.

    I suggest "bran" is because, like you said, it has the meaning of "米糠" and "糠" is close to powder but not quite.
